Moldovan politician Marina Tauber has been released from house arrest and will be placed under judicial control.
Ms. Marina Tauber was recognized by Solidaritätsnetz International as a political prisoner, which we reported to the authorities in Chisinau and Bern, notified the OSCE and carried out a direct action in Switzerland.
We are sincerely glad that the state authorities in Moldova have shown prudence and wisdom regarding the case of Ms. Tauber, releasing her and giving her the opportunity to publicly defend herself. Our Organization believes that Chisinau will not deviate from the path of European integration and ensuring high standards of law.
