The State Secretariat for Economic Policy of Switzerland has imposed sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities in connection with the construction of the Crimean Bridge.
The official website of the department indicates that the sanctions list related to the situation in Ukraine was changed on October 14, and they officially entered into force at 18:00 CET on October 15.
Earlier, in November 2014, the Swiss government decided to impose sanctions on Russian companies and officials. It supported a package of economic restrictions imposed on Russia by the European Union in September 2014.
Switzerland in August 2014 refused to food producers of the EU countries to establish supplies to the Russian market through its territory.
