Today in the capital of Greece, the city of Athens, a working meeting was held between the Vice-President and the head of the Ukrainian representative office of Solidaritätsnetz International Mr. Andrey Gozhyi and the leader of the Belarusian opposition Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Valery Tsepkalo.
The meeting participants discussed the state of civil society in Belarus, the pressure of the authoritarian dictator Lukashenka on freedom of speech and the complete destruction of democratic institutions by the official Minsk.
Mr. Andrey Gozhyi and Mr. Valery Tsepkalo during the dialogue developed an understanding of the roadmap for the future joint work of the Belarusian opposition forces and Solidaritätsnetz International to counter the usurpation of power in Minsk and return Belarus to the family of democratic countries.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
