As it was announced, Solidaritätsnetz International in the city of Bern, under the building of the Federal Department of Justice, close to the federal government, cantonal activists of the Organization held an action against Russophobia.
We expressed our disagreement with the suppression of the Russian language and culture in Ukraine, the policy of segregation of Russian speakers in Europe and the world. Russian culture is the heritage and property of the whole world, and politics should not forget about this when achieving momentary benefits from armed confrontations.
Solidaritätsnetz International calls on society to be restrained and reasonable in order not to revive the ideas of xenophobia and Nazism. Russian-speaking people should not be automatically subjected to any repressions, because this is contrary to the norms of European law regarding the individualization of guilt.
