Solidaritätsnetz International is aware of the fullness of the tragedy and the complexity of the situation that has developed around the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. We also understand the depth of the political, diplomatic and economic confrontation between Brussels, Washington and Moscow.
We should not forget and about humanism, respect for universal human values and personally for each person. In military rhetoric, many political leaders began to forget that hundreds of millions of Russian-speaking people live in the world, and tens of millions of people were born in Russia but live in other countries. And in Ukraine itself, most of the population are bilingual, using Russian and Ukrainian languages in their lives.
Solidaritätsnetz International shudders with horror when it learns about statements demanding a ban on Russian culture, and all holders of a Russian passport must be interned. Causes bewilderment and alarm chauvinistic manifestations in relation to Russian-speaking people and persons born in Russia, restriction of their movements and banking operations.
Russian-speaking people are against the war and, as a rule, in their majority they are not related to the ruling regime, and Russian culture enriches world culture.
In this regard, we oppose the manifestation of Nazism and cave Russophobia
To express our protest and adopt an appeal to the UN, we are going to a rally on September 24 this year, at 15:00 p.m.
The action will be peaceful.
